It’s fall, the end of summer and back to
school..... Well, we sure had fun during the summer months but ladies, fall
definitely has its perks, too!! Hey, there are still gorgeous rays of sunshine
promising more hot days to come. Summer may be officially winding down but the
heat is still on and in more ways than one. <wicked grin> So pile those
school books on the counter and go out and have some serious fun in between the
studies...
Ca-ching!!! I KNOW some of you looooove
Vegas. Well guess what’s going on this month in Vegas??? PRIDE
FESTIVAL WEEK, VEGAS STYLE, September 15-19!!! That’s
right.. what happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas.. but that doesn’t mean leaving
your girlfriends there.. <snicker> Pride Festival is happening September
17th at Clark County Government Center, 500 S. Grand Central Parkway from
12noon to 10pm. I can only imagine what goes on at a Vegas Pride Festival!! And
then of course, there are after hour parties!! One is at Brass Lounge (425
Fremont St). But let’s focus on the Pride Parade. It begins in Downtown Las
Vegas before the festival on the 17th. It starts at West Charleston Blvd. and
heads toward 4th St beginning at 8pm. There’s a whole new female -lesbo
movement beginning to explode in Vegas these days. SHEDONISM-
will be rippin’ up the town with their girl parties. Yep, they have taken over
Vegas. During this week of debauchery, Shedonism will be holding parties such
as Lust Kick-Off Dance Party which is a Pussycat Doll Burlesque Saloon at
Planet Hollywood. There’s also Eden Pool Party, Sin Party, Vice Pool Party,
Celebrity Texas Hold-em Tournament, Envy Party, Gluttony Brunch, Salvation
Closing Party and oh yes... more. Hell yeah! A Dinah type week Vegas style
baybeeee. I’m packing my bags and bringing my change. Yanno, one can always
step into a casino or two in between parties. Who knows! Could win the
jackpot!! But there’s another type of jackpot and that’s gettin’ your dance on
or finding the chick of your dreams.. The Real
L Word girls will be hosting some parties
during this rockin’ Pride Week. For more

that, Lisa Pittman, Shedonism and Las Vegas Pride 2011 are putting together the
first DYKE MARCH in Vegas on

Also on the agenda this month for you
east coasters is WOMENFEST,
September 6-11 in Key West!! It’s another huge gathering of women ready to
shake their booty.. Only this week it’s
in one of the most beautiful areas in the country.. the Keys!! Ahh, picture
yourself on a tropical island.. sipping a cool one... lying in a hammock..
::::::::::::: SCRRRREEEECH::::::::::::: okay, maybe not the hammock because
during Womenfest, you won’t be chillin’ .. you’ll be amongst some beautiful
women and having the option to attend a huge list of parties. Hook a lounge
chair by the pool, which is as great as a hammock, when the scenery is um..
well.. er.. sexy AND beautiful.. There are parties, cocktails, fabulous food,
dance parties, and other wicked and wild events. However, if you reeeeeally
want that hammock or just want to be a lesbo in public but not with all the
hordes of women, you certainly can do that as well. There is a Golf Classic
planned, and/or swimming with snorkels and watching dolphins.. Or is it
swimming with dolphins and watching snorkels...whatever?!!! hahah.. oops,
sorry. I was just imagining myself swimming with my own snorkel but you know
there is always some butch telling everyone how strong she is and how big her
snorkel is... always one in the crowd. I’m sure you know the type!! Ahem.. and
there’s also a band playing at the Smokin’ Tuna Saloon. Okay, call me naive,
but seriously? Tuna Saloon? Who names these clubs??? hahah.. well, neither here
nor there, there’s something for everyone at Womenfest. For more information,

And here on the west coast..(quit your
crying).. I have a party for you ladies too. It’s CAMBRIA
WOMEN’S WEEKEND on September 10-13. There will also be
something for everyone here. They’ll have dance parties, comedy nights, pool
parties, wine tasting. You see! The Vegas and Key West parties do NOT have wine
tasting at their parties! HA! Although, I think at all the parties, there will
be plenty of girls giving out a little whine.. <gigglesnort>. Cambria is
an amazing little artsy town on the west coast. If you have never been, you
have got to go check it out. Ocean breezes and kayaking.. hiking and biking.
Don’t forget about those fab. elephant seals. There will be plenty of great
entertainment such as Suzanne Westenhoefer who will make you almost pee pee
your panties, Gloria Bigelow, another fab entertainer, Lori Michaels, Me &
The Girls who will rock your world... Sweet Baby J’ai, and so many more!!! So
