September Sun Sign Profile: Virgo (August 23-September 22)

Virgo: Uptight, nit-picky perfectionists who over-analyze everything. Yep, it’s true, but when Virgo is on her game, she can move mountains. Want something done? Ask a Virgo! With the cerebral nature of ruling planet Mercury married to the productive nature of Earth, Virgos don’t just think about doing things, they get the job done! Known for their penchant for perfection, they are always ready to show up, suit up, and multi-task their way to the top of many fields requiring skill, hard work, and artistry. Motivated by service to others, Virgos can shine in the fields of Medicine, Nutrition, and Physical Fitness. Because Virgos have such a strong link between the mind and the body, they are prone to nervous disorders and can benefit greatly from meditation, exercise, and healthy living. A Mutable Sign, Virgo can juggle many balls in the air, which is an asset, but can also lead to scattered energy and burnout.

For all the Sun Signs: With the Sun and Venus in productive Virgo trine to Jupiter in Taurus at the beginning of September, work and creative endeavors are favored. After September 10, the somewhat daunting energy of Mercury Retrograde yields and projects that were thwarted in August will now have a chance for success. Uranus in Aries and Pluto in Capricorn remain in their uncomfortable square, but this long-ranging influence can produce positive results if you are willing to continue to make necessary changes in life. Astrologically speaking, we are going through a contemporary version of the Great Depression. But we live in the modern world. With all the amazing breakthroughs in technology and communication that abound, we do not have to let history repeat itself. Be innovative!

Aries (March 21-April 19) Uranus says “Greenlight!” and Pluto says “Cool your jets!” What’s a poor ram to do?  Hunker down and put your nose to the grindstone. Patience, hard work, and routine pay off this month. But watch your health.

Capricorn (December 22-January 19) Saturn in Libra is a pain, but everything else is favoring you this month, Cap. You might make a breakthrough in some important long-term project. Take care involving any legal issues; Mars in Cancer could bring hefty opposition.  

Aquarius (January 20-February 18)  Neptune, get outta my face! You might find that there are some murky issues from the past that are still vexing you this month. Time to cut your losses and move on in both money and love.
